Learning Web Animation

I am teaching myself Web Animation. I love the animated photos and banners that I see on the web, so I have been working on some for myself. Here are my first creations. I am having trouble adding the other photo of me animated. I cannot tell if the banner's image will be shown as the animation or just an image. I will continue to search for any information and tutorials on Animation that I can find on the web.

This is a Animated Photo Image of me. The animations are not working on my blog. I will see if I can get them to work on Myspace or my website.
